Montreal’s Fantasia Film Festival Is Going Virtual This Year
The pandemic has definitely changed the course of all the events (major and minor) that were set to take place this year. Sitting on our couches all day, we want to be a part of these entertainment events now more than ever. Especially with the events that involve being a part of a big crowd such as music festivals, this has been a major set back. A major part of the enjoyment came from the sense of togetherness that was felt by being one with the crowd. With other events such as product and tech launches, however, you could say that this might even be a better alternative. There are a lot of events that earlier could only be attended by a selected few and would be captured on video for the masses to have a second-hand experience.
