How to Fix YouTube Comments Failed to Post?

YouTube is one of the best platforms to share your videos with the world. But what happens when you can’t post a comment on any video? If you want to fix this issue, then here are some instructions given below.


Turn off the Ad Blocking Extension

  1. You should invoke Chrome and select the vertical ellipsis menu icon at the upper right side of the screen.
  2. Then select the More Tools option then choose the Extensions from the sub-menu.
  3. After that, locate and turn off the Adblock extension.
  4. Later, invoke the site of YouTube and look at whether you can post the comment or not.

Turn off the Extension or VPN Client

  1. Turn off the Browser extension or VPN client.
  2. Finally, invoke the mobile application or browser and check if you can post a comment on a YouTube video.

Login to the YouTube Website Again

  1. You should invoke the browser then go to the site of YouTube.
  2. Then choose the User button and select the Sign Out option.
  3. After that, shut the web browser and reboot the system.
  4. Now, open the browser and invoke YouTube to see if the issue has been fixed

Modify the YouTube Username

  1. You should modify the username for YouTube.
  2. Now, look at whether you should post comments on YouTube.

Make a Comment Once Play the Video for Sometime

  1. You should invoke YouTube then play the doubtful video.
  2. Then play the video minimum 1 minute and check if you can comment now.
  3. Otherwise, attempt to pause the video when you would like to make a comment.

Install the YouTube Mobile Application Again

  1. You should launch the Settings on the mobile.
  2. After that, select the ‘Application Manager’ option.
  3. Go to YouTube then select the Uninstall button.
  4. Once uninstall the application, reboot the device.
  5. Then install the YouTube application again and check the issue.
  6. In case there is no option of Uninstall, then go for step 4.
  7. Later, reach the app and force stop it and choose the Storage option.
  8. Select the ‘Clear Cache’ option and then choose the Clear Data of the app.
  9. Choose the button of Back.
  10. Later, choose the button of Disable and reboot the system.
  11. Now, launch the YouTube application.
