Disable Browsing Protection
- You should invoke the F-Secure Safe on your system.
- After that, select the ‘Browsing Protection’ through the end of the screen.
- Then switch the toggle of ‘Browsing Protection’ to disable it.
- Now, select the OK button.
Modify the Network Settings
- Press the Windows and I buttons altogether over the keyboard to invoke the Settings.
- After that, select the ‘Network and Internet’ settings.
- You should choose the Proxy option through the left side panel.
- Then move down and switch the toggle of ‘Use a proxy server’ to disable it.
Optional:
- Hold the Windows and R keys altogether over the keyboard to invoke the Run section.
- Then input ‘control’ into it and hit the Enter key to invoke the Control Panel.
- You should choose the “Network and Internet Options” then choose the button of ‘Internet Properties.’
- Go to the tab of Connections then choose the ‘LAN settings’ option through the bottom.
- Don’t forget to mark the box of ‘Use a Proxy’ then apply the settings.
- Check if the error has been fixed or not.
Remove File
- Hold the Windows and R keys altogether over the keyboard to invoke the Run section.
- Then input ‘%appdata%’ into it and select the OK button.
- Go to the folder of Discord and move down until you see the file of Settings which is into the format of “. JSON Source File.”
- You should choose the file and hold the ‘Shift + Delete.’
- Now, launch the Discord and see if the problem has been resolved.
Troubleshoot Compatibility
- Navigate to the Executable of Discord and right-click on it on your desktop.
- Then choose the ‘Troubleshoot Compatibility’ option through the list then all the Windows pop-up recognise the issues.
- Later, attempt the ‘Recommended Settings’ then check the app.
- Now, check if Discord is connecting or not.
